Coventry GP

Quinton Park Medical Centre is committed to providing the highest possible up to date standard of medical and nursing care, in a professional and compassionate manner, whilst respecting patients’ confidentiality.

We strive to offer an approachable and efficient service, putting the needs of our patients first and directing our services to the benefit of the local community.

We are working closely with UHCW hospital and the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust to provide services once provided in the hospital to our new surgery including diabetes care, sexual health services, mental health services and carers support.


Medical Staff

We currently have one senior GP, two salaried GP and one Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Additionally, we have nurses who run various clinics and are able to help and advise with problems that do not require a doctors attention, including chronic health conditions, diabetes, asthma and respiratory conditions and minor illness. 


Here at Quinton Park Medical Centre we also have One Clincal Pharmacist who helps provide medication reviews, advice on prescribing, and support with long-term conditions. 

We also offer access to a trained in house physiotherapist who can help restore maintain and improve a persons mobility function and well-being. 
 

Social Prescribing Team 

The social prescribing team here connect patients with non-medical support services in the community, such as exercise programs, social groups, or financial advice. If you need any more information or wish to be put in contact with this service please speak to one of our reception team who will happily help arrange this. 

Occupational Therapy 

Occupational therapy services are also offered here. OTs evaluate a person's physical, psychological, social, and environmental needs to understand how their condition impacts their daily life. OTs can recommend and arrange for home adaptations or equipment to make living spaces more accessible. Vocational Training for General Practitioners

Quinton Park Medical Centre participates in the training of doctors who wish to become GPs. GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have worked in hospital posts for two or more years, please accept their services as an extension of our own.

In some consultations video cameras are used in training sessions. You will be informed prior to booking this appointment if your consultation is being recorded and only if you have consented.

Administration Staff

Practice Manager And Assistant Practice Manager. 

Mrs K Dosanj and Mrs R Carvalho are responsible for the day to day running of the practice and administration staff. They are happy to help you with non-medical problems and welcomes your views and suggestions provided by the practice.

Receptionists

Our friendly, helpful and team of receptionists are always happy to help and assist you in making appointments, prescription ordering, dealing with any questions or enquires, and happy to offer help and assistance at all times.
